Did you get the Cryo-Tech package? From what i’ve read the Alder Lake CPU’s tend to run slightly hotter than the 11th gen CPU’s. Those temps without Cryo-Tech might be in range and not to worry about.

Yes, I have the Cryo package. They're not outrageous, but I expected lower temps with Cryo cooling.

They did, when you aren't stress testing your stuff.

I think the Cryo cooling is doing great, have a look around on the web and see people struggling with 360 liquid coolers, never mind 240’s

For a 120 AIO that is pretty good, considering the TDP of the latest generation Intel CPU's.

I thought they "fixed" the jet engine fans and they are supposed to be generating less noise on the R13?

I run R23 on my trusty 3700X on air, never see anything higher than 71 C.

Not the same performance numbers as the latest Intel CPU's, but with that much heat it might throttle and the numbers might become more even.

Depending on which Cinebench you use makes a big difference as well, R23 is a axe murderer for all cooling systems with the new chip.

Yep....R23 is what I'm running.

True statement, under normal load the fans are not that loud, but under stress, they make some noise.

Can you explain the difference between the standard Liquid-Cooled CPU and the Cryo-tech Edition CPU Liquid Cooling options?

Is the Cryo-Tech just an RBG upgrade or is there data to show the difference in cooling efficiency between them both?

Thanks

This is a bug, new system in A/C cooled home reporting temps comming into system are 160degrees Fahrenheit.  This is not possible with a home at 72F.  I think a bios update nay correct based on another user saying it fixed his issue but this is not acceptable on a system of this price to have such a serious bug. no wonder the fans run full blast at the slightest load.  CPU or GPU.  Also I expect max noise on a system like this to be much lower, they should not be able to sound like a jet taking off.  Very very poor.  I have smaller PC's running GPU and CPU's that need good cooling with fans that dont do this.  I normally build my own but this system is for my daughter and sorry I didnt just build her one myself.
