I have my power button to hibernate when I don’t want to do a full shut down. When I power it back on I return to where I left it. That’s the only way I know to shut off the FX lights.
I'd like to know this, too. Would like a keystroke to lock the system and turn off the lights, or even force Sleep/Hibernate. I'll try setting a Sleep/Hibernate to my PC button.
Go to Alienware Command center app. FX and look for lighting. On the various lights (way too many in my opinion considering global warming) select the black box and save the theme. It's a nice interface that allows you to control what colors, if any you want, and how much electricity you want to pay for.
Putting my R13 into Sleep Mode not only locks the screen but also turns off the RGB lighting. The only light left is the white power switch. When I bring the computer out of sleep, all the RGB lighting turns back on and I need to input my Windows 11 passcode to unlock the screen
