That's an issue and that is why you get the error code.
Best to contact Dell again and ask for another warranty repair. It can damage the VRM section of the motherboard because you have no air flow over it with liquid cooling.
Dell download site is currently down, but I would verify the memory sticks you have installed in that picture. I am pretty sure they are in the incorrect slots...
I am pretty sure they go in DIMM1 and DIMM2, which is slot 27 and 29 in the systems board overview of the service manual. They should go in the second and the fourth slot, not in the third and fourth slot like you have them installed.
Yes ive lost my data as well. Sounds like your technician was better than mine. As im also getting a vr heatsink issue i have to still send my pc for repair. Also a mistake from the technician
Possibly a common problem
anyway glad you got a resolution and thanks for sharing
They can figure it out only because I have a spare PC for them to test each part, they're very lost too.
Don't know your country but Dell here sold it to some China corp and they outsourced the repairing to a small local company. I don't understand why they still cut cost since they are selling Alienware at the most premium price.
The techician suggested me to add a heatsink for the SSD to prevent it happen again so maybe you should too.
Unisys came out the first time and noidea who came out the second.
After calling twice to dell last week they promised a courier would come to pickup my device. IM STILL WAITING. This is the last time i ever buy a dell. Its like a bad dream. I tagged them on twitter expecting a response but also nothing!. Im on the verge of going to an agency.
I had similar problems a couple of weeks ago, black screen no input but the inside lights were on (alien head flashed then went off, no LED ring on front). My first check was to reseat the DP lead and swap the DP output socket on the PC. No difference but HDMI was fine. Long story short, the DP lead to the monitor had become unseated and I'd not pushed it back in enough. I broke my own rule of not double checking the obvious which led me to assume it was something more serious.

Around the CPU socket, the 2 black heat sinks shown in the picture at the link I posted above.
Should be one above the CPU socket and one to the left when looking directly at the CPU socket.

Hi I got exactly same error to what you wrote and the technician found out it also due to burnt SSD.
My Fan broke first and then lead the SSD overheat, they're now trying to replace a new SSD later but all my data is lost.
