Make sure you’re actually installing AWCC for AMD and your GPU. I know that sounds silly, but for some reason Dell’s website was suggesting the wrong download for me. I actually had to manually find the right one. Once I got the correct version everything smoothed out.
I have also found that on occasion, for whatever reason, when AWCC would freeze and I’d have to do a hard restart, when the pc booted back up, AWCC wouldn’t keep any of my color and other settings. The way I found to fix this is to unplug the PC for 5-10 min and then plug it in and restart. I have no idea what is behind this but letting everything loose power seems to fix that particular issue.
I haven’t noticed it lately but back when I was having the real problem with freezing, I’m fairly certain that it was the AMD Adrenaline software/driver that was the problem. I actually had to use an older version of the software (although it was only a few days older) so AWCC wouldn’t freeze. I think whenAMD released a new version, it was causing the problem. I have since updated to the latest version and haven’t had any more issues.
I’m sorry I didn’t give you a concrete answer but hopefully I’ve pointed you in the right direction.

Try a clean-install of AW-CC. Do you know how to do that properly?
However, it can only be the newest version of the ones validated to run on your particular computer model.

Looks like one (v5.5.9.0)

What BIOS version are you running, and does machine 100% pass the ePSA Diagnostics (should be near F12 on boot)

Can I ask if you were able to resolve this? I get the "molasses slow cursor" effect when trying to install the latest BIOS, 2.6.
And the latest AWCC fails to install too. Barely had the machine 3 months and only use it for flight simulator.
Wondering if maybe peripherals could be affecting things?
