I get better thermals and performance lowering the power limit rather than lowering the voltage.

I know Timespy is not really a cpu benchmark, but interesting that I get a higher cpu score on my R13's 12gen i7 over the new 13gen i9.  That 4090 just crushes my lowly 3080ti.  If Alienware would support prior customers with upgrade parts, I would be so tempted to get their 4090 and matching power supply, if only so my R13 investment was not a waste.   That HP Omen 45L is looking nice! (and pass on the r13 to my mom, as its basically a throwaway when out of warranty, except for the cpu, gpu, ssd)

OMG that R15 3Dmark score is pretty ordinary.....    My 12900KF + 4090 RTX SFX setup for comparison....

Looks like Dell have nerfed it again..!!

CPU score seems pretty bad. I wonder what they did this time around...

Can we get someone from Dell directly to explain there are these issues with recent high-end Aurora model?

Crasy about the first problem. Dell send a technician and replace the Nvidea 4090. He see the system stutters with the new card also. Now Dell send a brand new R15 same config with the same error.

With your help i can fix the problems.

After i read this i inform dell about the problem and link it to here.

Hope for Updates

Anyone who is bothered by lower than usual benchmark scores can go with Windows 11 21H2.

Seems the R15 has issue's with Windows 11 22H2 or vice-versa.

I re-installed Window11 21H2 put only the Dell chipset drivers, latest Nvidia driver and get 35192 in CineBench and 33795 in 3dMark TimeSpy.

I still dont understand, I have my sound which stutters and I have lags when I play (mostly tried Valorant for now), did you apply any other fix?

I uninstalled SupportAssist like this :

I just received my Aurora R15 (i9 & 4090)

I ordered a new Aurora R15 this week and im excited to get my hands on it. I ordered with an  i7 13700KF/ 32GB DDR5 5200MHZ XMP /RTX4080/ 1TB NVMe/1350W PSU/Lunar Light Cryo-tech Edition Liquid Cooling.

My To-Do-List so far:

-Disabling sleep mode (hope there will be a bios update for that issue in the future)

-Uninstall AW Support Assist

I hope the system will run as reliable as my R10 did. I will post my experience here!

What exactly is the sleep mode issue? I am curious because I have told the computer to sleep at night and returned the next day to find the entire thing crashed. Is that it?

Yup.  Sleep mode does not work for many folks.  I disabled it as soon as I got mine too and I haven't had any issues.  But there are enough reports of it happening that I don't want to take a chance.  There's a new bios out now, but I'm waiting to see if others see an improvement before I dive on that potential grenade.

This is totally absurd. The computer can't even sleep, in addition to having the CPU grind to a halt in 15 minutes intervals.

WHERE IS DELL. FIX THIS NONSENSE NOW.
