Aurora R5, picture of LED controller connector
Hi People,
I bought an Alienware Aurora R5 Case which was used with an aftermarket mobo. I bought an original IPSKL-SC mobo but i found out that they messed up with the LED Controller Connector when searching to find the power button wire. They didnt put back in the correct place the wires and now i have to fix that.
What I ask for is a good closeup picture of the original OV593G connector so i can put the wires back in the correct place according to the colours.

Both links are R6. You can see double wire on every pin.

Thanks @redxps630 for posting that link to Cass's original post. Head is spinning after reading it but if I understood correctly, one Alienowner managed to get as far as the power switch and getting it lit red.
So @ZeRoFighter_FD3S may need to take Cass's input and put a multimeter to test continuity/ voltage/ current by setting R, G, B. The pain though is the daughtercard on each panel that further crunches the incoming signal.
I've tried unsuccessfully to yank out the existing LED on the side panel. Haven't tried with heatgun yet. If that is doable, better to just toss in a Cablemod/ NXZT lighting kit complete with controller.

@ZeRoFighter_FD3S if you like to deal with Dell Alienware wiring that is understandable. If it was my project I would just order the entire replacement part for $25 and save some headache. Interestingly in aurora Dell opted with wired side panel led connection whereas in Area 51 pre-dell and R2 they used wireless electrical contact. Pro of wireless contact is more neat design, con is sometimes contact not good and led does not turn on. I find the R5-6 side panel Y split cable w jump wire from power switch very confusing and not for the simple minded user. Cass advice was work like a sloth to prevent more damage when fixing it up.
