Aurora R5, picture of LED controller connector

Hi People,

I bought an Alienware Aurora R5 Case which was used with an aftermarket mobo. I bought an original IPSKL-SC mobo but i found out that they messed up with the LED Controller Connector when searching to find the power button wire. They didnt put back in the correct place the wires and now i have to fix that.

What I ask for is a good closeup picture of the original OV593G connector so i can put the wires back in the correct place according to the colours.

Thanks in advance for the help.

This a picture of my connector

Just an aside, but the part number in his photo is different from the part number in your photo.

It also looks like he has two light purple wires vs only 1 in the other photo.

@GTS81  I totally agree. But i need to start from somewhere. For the time being i will connect black and brown back and change them together. I tried black on the outside but i didnt have any power up. Its really a mess having to deal with this. Will update with the results~!

I admit this is quite confusing to me. I wish Cass is around to explain better.  My understanding is R5 and R6 use same chassis (call it 1.0) and same wiring the only difference being motherboard/chipset but I could be totally wrong.  https://www.dell.com/community/Alienware-General-Read-Only/Aurora-R5-R6-Community-Discussion-Upgrades/td-p/5640227

@ZeRoFighter_FD3S @redxps630 @r72019 :

Other than the 0V593G, do the trailing digits and alphabets on the sticker not matter?

Unless someone gets the factory connection manual, I wouldn't trust going by color seen on Internet pictures. Other than standard 12V RGB/ 5V RGB/ 12-5-3.3V ATX, everything else is the wild west.

3 Corsair ML120 Pros have the exact opposite color markings on the wires vs another 3 bought a few months later.

Is it possible Dell Alienware R5 Side Panel Door Light Cable 0V593G multi pin LED controller connector has variable color code at motherboard side?
