Aurora R5, power supply upgrade confusion

I'm installing the CX650M to replace the standard power supply in my Aurora R5. I can't figure out if I'm supposed to connect a PCIe cable from my graphics card to the power supply or to the GPU power on the motherboard?

I've never done this before and I don't want to mess up my computer.

1. Yes, but that is a "processor power" cable ... usually a 4+4 . The PS should have 2 sets.

2. Yes, as is common, most nice video cards require that.

They are two separate things.

Also, pretty sure only the appropriate (properly keyed) connector will even fit inside the socket.
