Ive been through this issue with 3 motherboards. Your mobo is dead. It is likely due to a short in the psu. My short was found in the front USB panel wiring, which is why i went through 3 mobo's before finding the problem. Since yours was working fine before the psu swap, id say the new psu is faulty or you accidentally had a static discharge and fried the mobo during installation of the psu. Either way, that's your issue.

This is the video replacing the mobo.. and viola!! It is the main problem..
Now reseting it and updating and it should be fine and working again...

After double checking all the power supply connections, If it still doesn't work if you still have the old power supply reinstall it and see if it starts. If it does the new power supply would be suspect. Sadly, the only want to truly test a power supply is to replace it with a known good power supply.

Thank you for the reply... i had another opinion to press and hold the button behind the power supply so see if everything works.. lo and behold everything responds.. all the fans and the gpu lit up... but when i tried to press the power button.. back to flicks again.. still wont boot up... i have a suspicion of a damaged motherboard..

Yeah, that's the solution. And IIRC, these aren't cheap from Dell. Id suggest looking around to see what ASUS or Gigabyte boards will fit. Next time mine fries, that's what i'm gonna do. Aftermarket RMA's are way easier than dealing with Dell.

Just to be double sure, try out your old PSU like the other guy said...i doubt it'll work, but worth a shot before buying more stuff.
EDIT: you might wanna RMA that psu with Dell if you can. If its within warranty, they should repair or replace it if they find any issues with it.

So I know I am late but if you are willing to reply to this I bought a corsair rm 750 watt psu after I installed it my Aurora R8 wouldn't turn on I thought I had bricked my motherboard but I put in the psu that come with the Aurora and it worked fine and I ran a few stress test and fine. So do the motherboards have a compatibly issue third party psu or is it a bad psu

@Abdul aziz1 This is the connection I'm referring to in my above post that needs to get connected or you will get a black screen - bottom right corner next to the wifi card (right above the 2 red circles)

Yeah so I had looked around someone said to use a 4+4 cpu cable and I was using 6+2 pcie cable. So I used the cpu cable and everything is a okay.
