That's great news.  Thanks for sharing.

Just want to confirm with you that once this memory was installed, the XMP toggle became available in BIOS?

I had the option for xmp with the first set of memory I put in my other machine.  I don't remember if I had that option with the original 2x8GB sticks that came with it.  Currently I'm using xmp1 under advanced.  The main page in the bios also shows the correct frequency of 3200 MHz for memory speed.

This is great news; wonder if other brand memory might be compatible now... I’m going to try, as was going to migrate components from another pc to an empty Aurora R7 motherboard, and case, and this is one thing I wasn’t looking forward to (essentially downgrading my memory speeds); Only one way to find out, but I appreciate the post.

So it is able to go beyond the 3200mhz with the R7? The ram you posted as a voltage of 1.35v and the R7 board only support 1.2v... have you run in to any problems? If I could get 32gb running at 3200mhz it might stop me from spending money gathering parts for my own build, and instead I would just get the ram you have and another gtx1080ti....
