Hi. I Wanted to update my BIOS to 1.0.18, but every time i start the updater, the app crashes.

What I tried so far:
- tried to close all apps in background, tray
- restart windows in safe mode and try again
- restart windows with disabled driver signature enforcement
- run bios updater in compatibility mode
- scanned for malware and viruses with malwarebytes antimalware and windows anti virus (nothing found)
- disabled anti virus/windows defender firewall
- repaired (cleaned) windows registry
- sfc /scannow through command line
- enabled/disabled Windows DEP
- scanned hardware, performance with Dell Support Assist with no warnings/errors
- tried to install through SupportAssist
- keep all other drivers up to date
Nothing seems to help. Is there another way to update bios, like through usb stick?
Tried to open bios updater app for previous version (1.0.17), also crashes.
Any help appreciated.

Yes, in fact ... it is the safer/preferred way.
Press F12 on boot.
