Aurora-R7, OS install, lost Alienware settings
A couple of days ago when I tried to boot my pc a red box popped up with the words “Secure Boot Violation” I didn’t know what to do so I took it to Best Buy Geek Squad. All they did was re-install windows, but everything isn’t the same as it used to be, I realsized that from the factory they mist be some pre-sets and pre-installed prorgans that you can’t get from just a re-install of Windows. So my question is, is there anyway to get my pc back to the way it was?

Is Alienware Command Center (and it's Thermal Controller) installed ... can you control the lights and fans?
After a clean-install of Windows-10 64bit on an Aurora-R7, that's really the only Dell/Alienware software you need to install extra.
As for what was wrong before ... sounds like it contracted a really bad virus .... possibly even a Root-Kit. Please be carefully what you install now and what sites you visit. Be sure to install your Windows-Updates and keep Windows-Defender running.

In case you never figured it out or to help future peeps. Go to this link on dell’s website and download any programs you want.
