Aurora R7, RX 6700 XT not working
Have a R7 with 8700K and upgraded 850 W power supply.
Purchased a new MSI Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card to upgrade my old 1060 that came with the computer.
Card fits into case, I have all the correct power connectors (2 x 8 pin)
When I turn computer on all a get is the Alienware screen. It gives me the option to hit F 2 for Bios or F 12 for Boot options but nothing happens if I hit any options or leave the computer alone.
Installed the graphics card into a 6 yr old computer (had to clean out and replace bios battery) but the graphics card worked perfectly. I even plugged it into the PCIe x 8 slot just in case as I have read that Alienware went cheap and only installed x 8 rather than x 16.
I would like to know if anyone else has had an issue or a fix, I was not planning to junk my Alienware just yet but I'm not interested in staying with my useless 1060 any longer and every other video card out there is either too long or not in stock.
Thanks in Advance

There are now 4 bios related settings that must be disabled so that non dell video cards are seen and Dell or Microsoft won't bork you with an update.
SMM Security Mitigation DISABLED
UEFI Bootpath Security DISABLED
Secure Boot OFF
Windows capsule bios updates DISABLED
Translation your non dell GPU will not be seen in device manager and will not display ANYTHING even in F2 bios with ALL HDD Removed and CMOS Cleared.
You will think your GPU is fake or bad when nothing is wrong. Has nothing to do with windows because linux or no hard drives/OS at all will show the same symptoms when you try starting F2 or F12.
Thought my GPU had died and only figured this out using Display port to DVI with DVI to HDMI adapter with card removed. I thought it was DEAD/BAD I use the adapter with onboard because most of my monitors are now either DVI or HDMI very few are actually display port.

I see the same on an Aurora R5 with a new Radeon 6600 XT .
However the BIOS is crazy limited in tweakable options.
Except for Secure Boot OFF I see none of the other ones mentioned.
Also I am apprehensive about messing with secure boot and TPM stuff, since I do not want to brick Win 10.
So any idea on procedure with R5 ?
Thx

I'm Having the same exact issue on a R5 and 6600 XT. Have tried both PCI slots with and without secure boot and no luck.

Did you find a fix for this for the Aurora R5? I have the same problem installing a 6900 XT.
