Aurora R7, overclocking is not working, error is attached

When I click on the OC controller and try to turn on, it gives this error. Any expert here please? I already installed the OC software as it required but no use.

@Touseefdesigner Here, the 7:22 am post includes a link to the 8700K files that you need, plus instructions for how to fix it.

Very minimal information provided.

What CPU do you have? Is it overclockable . . . or should we just guess?

Yes

@Anonymous

Processor i7 8700K

Graphic card 1080 8GB

it was before overclocked but since i reinstalled the windows ..it never fixed.. All the command center thing is working except the Overclocking thing..

by the way from the BIOS the setting is ON .. OVERCLOCK ON.. then Profile is Disable  but there is 2 profiles i saw in BIOS.. even if i select the 1st profile and come back to windows and turn on the OC.. the error comes the same above.. dont know what to do.

This is AWCC? Dell has detailed instructions on how to remove and reinstall AWCC. Worth a try?

You might also check this earlier thread on the problem you're describing:

A number of users are reporting the same thing. No very conclusive answer, but there is a suggestion to reflash the BIOS or roll it back to the previous version.

Discover the "Change CPU Ratio" alternative, which speaks to the CPU recurrence multiplier work. Feature the choice's "Auto" setting, and afterward press "Enter" to raise a rundown of substitute settings. Pick a number higher than the current setting. Press "Return."

You need the dataconfig and ocstatus files for the 8700K to drop into AWCC / OC Controls. Sort of a workaround, once this problem comes up.  If updating BIOS doesn't fix it.
