Aurora-R7, performance issues

Hello,

I believe I'm having issues with my R7 - I've taken it back to my dealer once and all they've done is re-install Windows when I believe I have a hardware issue.

The specs are: Processor - Intel Core i7 8700 Graphics card - GeForce GTX 1070 RAM - 16 GB

My problems are as follows:

- very variable booting

Sometimes it boots into Windows instantly, others it takes 3 - 5 minutes, and when it takes longer it does not show the "Alienware" logo and gives only a blank screen (sometimes sending no signal to the monitor at all)

- Witcher 3 frame drops

While I am running the game on ultra settings, as a 3 year old game I assume my PC should have no problem running it. However in areas with trees or foliage there is noticeable drop in frames

Brigador - loading times tripled/quadrupled

I stream games and have recordings of the PC's performance when I first purchased it. Back then levels loaded almost instantly. Now they take 10 - 20 seconds.

Is any of the above normal? I have only had the PC 3 months (performance issues began about a month after purchasing) and have only installed a few games and Ad-Aware

Thanks in advance

What type of storage drive? Also, games 3 years old still require some muscle to run. You have a mid range GPU combined with the bare MINIMUM amount of ram recommended for gaming. At max settings, some drops where foliage is massive would be normal (unless of course it didn't happen before). The initial issue sounds like a storage drive failure to me. In this case, reinstalling windows would surely do nothing to fix the problem. Did you check the temps of your gpu during the gaming session? fps drops will happen if you are throttling due to high temps.

When you noticed the problem, did anything change - for example hardware added/modified, software installed, updated?
