Aurora R7, rebuild walkthrough?
I am fixing up an aurora r7 I was given, and I’m trying to find a helpful guide/video on how to properly take it apart and rebuild it. The guides in the manual are not helpful, anyone have any links?

Just take a lot of photos so you can check back and see where everything goes and how it was configured before tear-down. Too many photos is better than not enough.

Ah yes. Are we sure that the processor that is installed is supported by the board? I think it was asked in that thread, to get a picture of the CPU just to make sure the CPU is supported by the motherboard.
That would be an important step as we don't know if the system was working before it was gifted or the origins of the system.

The point here is that a person - LazerKhat, bought a PC Aurora R7 second hand and it looks like he has no idea where the problem is and what to do. He's trying to start the PC but it's not working, so he started another thread.

That's why I am saying to make sure the CPU is supported. The 1 blink error code indicates a bad motherboard and ROM, but it could also be CPU related.
So I would start there with any system that is second hand as often these machines are sold stripped of all valuable parts and put back together with the cheapest parts possible to make a maximum profit on it.

What is wrong with it? It's usually not needed to take a system apart and rebuild it.

It's up to LazerKhat to do it, it's his PC!

OK, so the CPU is installed!
Now, according to the service manual, all cables must be connected to
right place.
Install the CPU cooler and apply new paste.
Install the VRM cooler
Install original OEM RAM.
Install the GPU.
Connect the monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Try to turn on.
Then you can solve other problems!
Progress photos would be helpful.

Next question is, did this system ever work prior to you getting it?
