Aurora R7 x16/x8 Question
This is a quote from Alienware Tech Support:
"It's not a problem with the video card nor the computer, the computer will use the boasts x16 pcie when it requires it, there is not a way of putting the computer on that. Even the stress test will not go up that high, it is normal, if an application or a game require it, it will go up"
After looking around the forums a bit, the statement above seems to be false. Previous posts state that the R7 cannot run x16, but only x8. Can anyone verify?

Go to the following forum page and carefully read the post by Tesla1856. The information would appear to be true. It is a matter of semantics. And I quote "PCIe-x8 (v3.0) which is the same bandwidth as a PCIe-x16 (v2.0) slot".

yes. It's running as only x8 3.0(speed not much different as x16 2.0)
