Thanks! I did try this and I enabled the ultimate performance, but unfortunately the AWCC is still taking control and resetting the monitor setting. It is the weirdest thing.
I selected the now-available ultimate performance plan, in windows power settings first, and set the monitor to sleep "never". Then I went to the AWCC and set it to sleep never and hit save. Closed AWCC and re-opened it, and it was reset again. -_-
Thanks! I tried this and it apparently knows how to restart itself haha. I guess I'm looking for a more permanent solution. I can work around it by manually changing the profile every time I turn on the PC but obviously it's really annoying to do that. I timed it and it's powering off after 1 min which is brutal!
I feel like there had to be an update or something that did this because it just started a month ago...but not seeing much else here so maybe it's just me?

Give this a shot: Windows 10 power plan
There's no real negative to removing AWCC besides not being able to control the RGB anymore.
All the other functions can be done by free alternatives.
I would first check the windows power plan, in case the issue is not with AWCC.

I think AWCC uses a service to apply it's settings. You could try stopping the service and see what happens.
