Hello everyone. Have anyone encountered this? Any tips would be appreciated.

Do you have the correct AWCC installed?  The photo is showing an Area 51, but then the text says Aurora R8.  The picture doesn't match up with the text.

I'm not sure where do you see Area 51. The screenshot shows Alienware Aurora R8. All the Dell software is the original that came with it.

The errors are in bold red.

Looks like the dataset received has null values in it.... and the error is unhandled.

Anyways, the question is what's wrong with it...

Hi @nasmork

DId you type your service tag or did you try to detect your system. To me looks like you tried to detect, this requires a navigator plugin to be correctly installed and depends on navigator compatibility

If you used the "detect" manner, try entering your service tag.

Use a different navigator then.

Maybe pointless suggesting

If you want to raise a bug and expect a new version corrected, I shall just fade away before I burn out

Service tag is known to the app. In the log and image above i just masked it.

"It's just a logo. The system is Alienware Aurora R8"

Ah, you're right, I heard back that this is just a software flaw with Alienware Update so it being there wouldn't indicate that the wrong version is installed.

Have you tried uninstalling Alienware Update, either using Revo or per Dell's Instructions: Dell's Instructions

And then updating to the latest version (or, if the problem occurred after the latest version, rolling it back to a prior version?

Yes. Both Alienware Update and SupportAssist. No luck.

Looks like there is something else that causes these errors.

Noticed that when is click System Info, it fails as well

Still no luck after uninstalling and reinstalling Dell-Update-Alienware-Update-Application-for-Windows_292RG_WIN_4.1.0_A00 and SupportAssist
