Thanks for your answer!

I already saw what my computer support but since I m a bit inexperienced I wanted to be certain i could add more SSD.

At the moment my computer has one M.2 and one 3.5-inch hard drive, that means i could add two 2.5-inch hard drives!

But my question is,  as already discussed in this topic https://www.dell.com/community/Alienware-Desktops/Aurora-R8-add-SATA-SSD/td-p/7292114, would it be better to buy another m.2 and an adapter or find a 2.5inch ssd hard disk?

@Larry90

Sorry but we can only inform you of what options you have.

What is best/better for you only you know that.

What programs you will I be running???

Will I need faster speeds or just larger storage???

How much can I afford to spend???

Am I capable of doing this myself or do I need to hire someone to do it for me???

When you decide what is best/better for you then we can try to help.

Regards,

U2

ok, I see what u mean :D, i will try to explain myself better! I m considering to add a second SSD drive (total would be 2SSD and 1HDD in my computer) because the other SSD is only 256 GB and i was planning to dual boot Ubuntu. Reading some others articles i noticed that they suggested to add the extra SSD using a PCIe adapter and the reason was to get better performance, istead the SATA SSD would be slower. Now, I admit i m not particulary experienced with those procedures, but I m asking here if it's true that using PCIe adapter would make SSD faster and if it would be doable on my computer. Or maybe there is also another option do add the SSD and having good performances. Sorry if it's difficult to understand my situation, but as I said it's not my first language :D I hope this time I explained a little bit better, thank you for your patience and sorry for my inexperience !
