Aurora R8, memory upgrade?

Are you kidding me? If I want to upgrade my memory, I have to buy it from Dell? For the amount of money charged, I should be able to install anything I want on it. This ugly expensive PC is going back TODAY!

4 x 8gb is also not supported in the R7.  But oddly enough 4 x 16gb is supported.  I don't know if bios has been updated to correct this in the R8 (since they otherwise share the same motherboard).

I have the 2933 MHz HyperX 2x8 GB so I thought I would buy 2x8 GB more and they should work fine, which they did for a while then all of a sudden my system wouldn't boot up.  I take 2 of the DIMMs out and now it boots, this has to be the most ridiculous thing that Dell could have possibly done not enabling 4x8 GB DIMMs but 4x16 GB DIMMs work fine.

Hi there,

I was wondering if i can ask you a question on your experience on upgrading your Ram. Was going through the forum and notice that I've going the same route as you. Did you notice any difference after installing. Is there any advice you could give me ahead of time before installing them.

Thank you,
