1) Check for loose cables or connectors no longer properly seated in the area you may have been working in.
2) Put the original RAM sticks in the R8 and test. If it's working then put your new RAM in the PC and test again.

its the case thats not lighting up it worked fine when i didnt have the cover on with the new ram but once i closed it up they turned off

1) Check for pinched wires or cables.
2) Check for frayed wires or cables.
3) Wiggle cables going to the light zones to see if they come on.
