You will likely run into issues, pending on the size of the card: Will it fit
Also have to verify power supply requirements, and with a 3080ti potential bottleneck due to lower end processor.

The R8 shipped with up the 9900K, which would be a really good chip to pair with the 3080ti for someone already running a 300 series chipset (as opposed to say the z490 used in the R11 and 12). True, lower end chips could bottleneck, but the same is true for 10/11th gen chips too.
