Aurora R9, AW2518H, DP connection not working?

Question

I recently bought a Alienware Aurora R9 and Alienware AW2518H monitor.

I connected the Aurora R9 with an HDMI cable to the AW2518H and that worked!

I also connected the display port cable provided with the AW2518H to the Aurora R9.

I checked the connection multiple times but the AW2518H does not get any output from the Desktop. It goes to sleep the moment I switch AW2518H from HDMI and to DisplayPort saying "no signal"

Please tell me how to fix this.

I was able to solve it. You need to remove the RAM, HDD and the GPU and then one by one put them back. This clears the error. I dont know why but is solved the problem for me.
