If that's a pwm fan, keep in mind that it may throw an error on boot and you can't switch to a standard 25mm fan due to height limitations.

Going to be very close to hitting the psu, if not hitting it.

Also, looks like the overhang might hit the vrm heatsink. I'd suggest that you just get a ruler and check before you buy it.

I opened up my R9 yesterday since I'm considering upgrading the cooling to a quieter solution (im on stock air colling rn, but I have an i5 9400 so it's not really about temperature). I mesured the space between the MB and the PSU, it's about 70mm, so even if the 69mm cooler fits, it would suck air from near the PSU casing warm surface, and I don't know if that would affect the cooling at all but i wouldn't risk it.

I'm considering a Noctua NH-L9i, which is 37mm, but I believe it requires to take out the MB to be mounted since it's screwed from the back...

I have also seen videos and read posts about the R9 that reccomended the Corsair H60 water cooler, which seems to be easier to mount. In this case you get both front and top fans as air intake, I guess it's not ideal but could still work well (?)

@Anonymous oh I didn't know that, thanks. I just assumed radiators were supposed to get air from outside the case because it's cooler.

Yeah but which ever way you roll, you can't have two fans going one way, and no fans going the other way.  Otherwise there'd be too much pressure buildup in the case and the fans would be working against each other.  The pressure going in should roughly equal the pressure going out.

Because of the small space, use a liquid-cooler. They are virtually silent (especially when not stressed ... like with an Intel-i5 ) .

On all Aurora's (since like forever)

Cool air in the lower front.
Hot air rises.
Radiator fan (top mounted) exhausts hot air , and that air is fine to cool the liquid (2 birds with one stone).
