Aurora R9, can't get AWCC to access oc/temp
When I load AWCC to try and adjust my thermal / oc settings, both icons in the app keep spinning and do not allow me to get into their respective settings. Tried reinstalling and rebooting. Any ideas?

You should be able to create a new profile on the bottom left and then apply the new thermal profile with your custom fan speeds.

I noticed in your post history, you mentioned having an R9, 2070, 9700, with an air cooler upgraded to an H60. OC Controls won't work with a 9700.

Humm, not such which PC or specs you are asking about, but just a comment that you need an unlocked (e.g., 9900K / 9700K) CPU in order to adjust OC settings and thermal profiles on the CPU. Locked CPU's can't be overclocked. If you downloaded the OC controls application for a locked CPU (e.g., 9700) it would not work.

I know cpu overclock won't work but I thought the fan speeds were accessible here as well as gpu oc settings. I was able to get in there before but I'm not now and I'm not sure why.
Ps: didn't put the h60 in yet. Bought 140 mm fans the first time and then was sent non pro the second time.

I just ran downstairs and came back five minutes later and I was able to access the settings. My r9 is now levitating 6* above my desk

I've done it before. Now for some reason thr thermal and oc icons just keep spinning. I've unistalled and reinstalled awcc over clock. My biggest concern is I'm changing the fans to ml120s and putting in a corsair h60 on Tuesday and I won't be able to achieve 1.21 gigawatts. Or control my Fans. But I would like to know why it's not loading oc and thermal. Any shot afterburner can interfere with it?

Uninstall Kaspersky Security and restart computer. Both OC and Thermal should work when you launch Alienware Command Center in a minute.

AWCC service is a delayed startup service. Check it is running. I find that my R8 with 9900k and RTX 2080ti exhibits similar behaviour with the spinning wheels on both thermal and OC options if AWCC is opened soon after booting. I find if left for a good 5-10 mins, then open AWCC, more often than not it all loads correctly. You could also try stopping the AWCC service and restarting it.
