My friend told me to cap my fps at 90 and after that my temps never exceeded 78c when running max settings on any game. I guess this is a solution but would like to not have to cap it this low because my monitor is 144hz. Thanks for responding quickly if the temps increase i may try to reapply  thermal paste because that seems to be an issue with Alienware.

If you don't feel warm air streaming out from the top or if the radiator is cool to touch while the CPU bakes away, you would want to check if the AIO pump is pasted and mounted properly.

Warm air is coming out of the top and out of the back but the radiator feels cool. If the pump is working would i need to take off and apply new thermal paste.

Is at least one of the pump hose warm?

Both of the hoses seem warm but one is definitely cooler then the other.

so i havent had mine overheat yet but when i start up games sometimes the fans get really loud even for quite simple games such as minecraft, and i have the 2080 super version but im not super experienced with Alienware desktops. So is this normal? sometimes if i open a game while its downloading something the temperture can spike up to 91C* and then cool down a bit. Just want to know if their is maybe something i can do to help this if anything

Is it your gpu that hits 91c or your cpu?

@davidlr12 :

You can add liquid cooling to the CPU by going for one of those 120mm radiator AIO coolers. Several posts on this forum has shown how this is done. You may need to buy a radiator mount bracket for the chassis if it doesn't come with your R9.

Going to i9 is just helping make the heat problem worse.

Are using the Alienware Command Center for your Thermal Balance and Power Balance profile for the/a game... or any other game. I'm using My R9 for DCS sim, so created  a DCS profile set to High Performance and High Power  to where when I start the game the machine startsto breathe and flows increases. but my default settings are both on balanced, so when I exit the game... it fans turn down and everything is balance mode which works very well in the R9. The sounds of fans going means increased in air flow !!! the machine loves it.

Are your defaults settings in AWCC set to high or balanced.

I hope this help, I'm no pro at this but I am learning. Alot of good help in here and I'm really liking the Dell Alienware service in here too. Take Care.
