Aurora R9, upgrading RAM, GPU
Hi,
I'm back after the help I was given on these boards (thank you very much....again).
Next I'm going to replace and upgrade my ram but I am not sure what ram to get & / or is compatible.
I'm learning as I go you see.

Yes I know its overpriced but I have a thing about forking out money all at once, I like to be able to pay it off monthly and have extra money for fun stuff.

$774.39 USD for a zotac 2060 super!!?? That is highway robbery. Are they really that expensive in the UK? Have you checked amazon?

That 1 is marked up as I can pay over 12 months interest free.
I pref to pay for stuff like that as it keeps me with cash in the bank.

1. Well the specs say it supports up to Hyperx fury, and the predator is a higher class so not technically supported. I don't know anyone who has tried hyperx predator so I can't otherwise comment there. It could work fine, or it could just downclock, or it may blackscreen on post.
2. My only suggestion is to look for a blower style GPU like the Asus turbo, msi aero, or gigabyte turbo series. The small form factor case has a harder time expelling heat with open air double fan gpus. And to be mindful of PSU limitations and recommended system power if you have a 460w PSU.

I put in a 750w PSU when I changed the CPU cooling to a liquid cooling system so thats not going to be an issue.
Blower style? Still getting to grips with lingo and upgrades and such....
