According to the following series of posts especially the posts by Techgee, it would appear the answer is yes. The straight Area 51 would not, but the Area 51 R2 should without a problem.
And it would appear that I have to start typing faster Techgee....

Yes. See here for more details. Note if the Samsung 960 series works (which it does) so will the 970 series.
