Installing RAM on Alienware Aurora R8
I'm installing RAM to my Alienware Aurora R8, and I'm wondering if I can add my new RAM (https://rb.gy/ayxwfv) on top of the previously installed RAM by Dell, that came with the computer upon arrival; or if I would have to uninstall the default RAM and just use the new RAM. Any help is appreciated!! (P.S. I did use a shortened link because the amazon link was extremely long..)

If the speeds are the same (DDR 4 2666) it may work. The only way you can be certain is to try it. If you get errors, blue screens, system freezes then you know they are not compatible. After installing the RAM you can also run diagnostics (F12 at boot) to see if any RAM errors appear. When you boot with the new RAM you will probably be prompted to check configuration in the BIOS by pressing F2. That can help spot problems if there are any.

You will have to try if it works. Your existing ram would have to be same size, same speed, same timings (19-19-19-43), or you will more than likely run into issues or not get the desired outcome.
