Thanks i'll give that a try. I was playing a 15 minute session of Dying Light in Ultra mode (1080p) and my temps hit: GPU 83c, Memory 96c. The fans do increase but way too late. They went from idle speed of 999 rRPM to 2800 RPM.
Edit: Thank you so much, that works and I was able to lower the temps.
Cool! Yeah, the default setting is really weird, the emergency fan mode doesn't kick in until 82 or 83, and then as soon as it hits the threshold it goes into like 100% full fan power.
I'm wondering if I should reapply the thermal paste on the RTX 2070 Super? Even if I run the fans at 60% (4500rpm) temps still get into the upper 70's and top out at 81c.
