Is your main Intel processor Liquid-Cooled or just fan-cooled?
On my Liquid-Cooled Aurora-R6 ... - Fans are quiet - I don't use Intel Extreme Tuning Utility - While my system is i7-7700k, I don't OverClock - Core temps under 75c at max. utilization - Rock-Solid stable
It is liquid cooled, and I double checked the OC setting it was off. I also installed HW-Monitor and it was having the same reading of temps with the AWCC. After doing a lot of readings yesterday, maybe it is thermal paste or heat sink related? Just got tired trying to figure it out.
Yup that's why I was wondering why the CPU is hitting that high temp. I'll take a look at the link that you gave. Thank you.
What does Dell Phone-Support say?
If it's brand new and already has a liquid-cooler failure (or some other major component) ... I think even I would be considering sending-it-back for a refund.
Hi, had the same problem, my machine was air cooled, and while I waited for my Corsair hydro H60, I got into the bios and set off the intel speed step, this way will run cooler meanwhile but I will sacrifice speed...
after a week of waiting finally arrived the H60 hydro, I installed carefully and now My temps are at full load 78 - 80... and idle and normal browsing 30 degrees to 33
problem solved for me,
if you have water cooling already and have those temps prob reapply thermal paste or delid the processor and re apply paste

Nice.
With an Intel-i7, you just can't beat a Liquid-Cooler.

Install CPUID HW-Monitor.

1. OK, if you say so.
2. OK. good.
Asetek-made Liquid-Cooler should have no problem keeping cores under 75c ... even at maxed-utilization.
