I do not know for the R13, but I do use those on my G5SE laptop and they work fine, with all the Adrenaline options available.
I don't even use the AWCC on my G5SE.
The only thing I would watch for is to make sure you only install the video card drivers, not the whole AMD driver set.
The R13 is Intel based, so you have to make sure you use Intel for the chipset drivers and AMD for the video card.
My G5SE is all AMD, so I installed the full driver package from AMD, including the chipset drivers. You want to only install the graphic card drivers on your R13.
