R9 CPU questions.
Hey guys I have an R9 with a pretty low processor of i5 9400. I wanted to upgrade to an i7 9600k. Is that possible with the mother board? Thanks

These are the validated processors for the R9: Validated processors
That being said those are OEM processors and not retail. Technically speaking there's no difference, but the BIOS on the R9 might not like it.
Just a word of caution on that.

some community user had a 9700k in R9 build. there is no i7-9600k (does not exist). do you mean i5-9600k or i7-9700k?
