Update not updating
Hey all!
so I restarted my computer 2 days ago for a system update, I then heading off out of town, just returned to find it still stuck in the update mode.
does anyone have a fix or had this issue.
it just says to “ please wait while we instal a system update”
No Events found!

Can you shut down windows, and restart the computer?

Only if I do a hard shutdown buy pressing the button on modem.
though every-time I go to restart the machine it always comes up with the update.

To make troubleshooting easier for all, post the specific Alienware Desktop model, operating system, what specific update, etc.
If you are not sure which model, look for the private Service Tag number on the chassis. Then enter the private Service Tag number here.

If you are referring to the latest windows October update I tried everything...The only thing that worked was creating a media creation tool. I was then able to keep all my programs, apps, most drivers, settings, etc...and got the fresh windows image along with all that.
