X51, 5 beeps

Question

So, I have an Alienware pc and for some reason everytime I push in the graphics card it beeps five times but when I barely push in the graphics card it starts up the pc just fine. I'm not sure what's going on?

@DeSlamTV  5 beeps means replace your CR2032 Coin cell battery on the motherboard.  It died.  They last about 4-5 years usually before needing replacement.

@r72019 I have the X51 Ao6 does that matter with the beeps? Or is it still the coin cell battery? I noticed the first time I unplugged the battery for two minutes then plugged it back in and it worked for a bit but then started having issues after that. Seems like a cheap fix so I hope it is that. Will probably buy that part this Friday and see.

The bios revision doesn't make a difference for the error codes.

DL2032 batteries are available at most grocery stores because they say medical device battery because blood sugar machines use the same battery. You only need 1 and they last for several years if the device is plugged in but can die if a machine is unplugged for months at a time.
