17 X51 R3 continuously freezes when idle?
I've read many threads on google about it being a Windows 10 issue, and I have tried a lot of different recommendations and I still get these freezing issues when the computer sits idle for 5-10 minutes.
Has anyone with an Alienware had these issues, and if so how did they get resolved? My first PC in about 8 years after coming back from Mac so I'm still new.

Try running an ePSA/Diagnostic test on the system to check the main hardware components, click here to view a Dell article that explains how to run this test. Let us know if you receive any errors.
