23" Alienware OptX Random Flicker
After a week of recieving my Aurora R4, i bought the OptX to complete the set (kinda).
But once in a while i get this random flicker on the OptX as if theres a disturbance.
The flicker doesnt even last a second. Before i bought the OptX i had to use my old monitor and it never really did this.
Any1 know whats wrong? Could it be my DVI cable? Hopefully it is :(

Could be the cable. I'v had them go bad on me and cause everything from a green screen to a flicker or no screen at all. I would change the cable if you have another one and see if it goes away.
It could also be your driver. You could try updating it or rolling back to an older one. Doesn't hurt trying to reseat the video card too. I'v seen them loose and when you change the cable it moves them just enough to make them act up.

Well i checked the dvi cable b4 going to bed last night..looking closer i saw a pin actually not positioned like the other pins are. Im not really good with english so im gonna describe it this way...
Its like pins are like the standing soldiers. All of them is standing 6 foot tall but one is only 5 1/2 foot.
When i get home im also gonna check if my video card is not properly seated. I already updated the drivers last night and flicker still happened so i decided to post here. I never really had my system push so hard to its limit to. I ve never seen my gpu go past 60 degrees yet.
Oh yeh i forgot..it could be my system to so i should leave the build here..
