AW768 Color Profiles Resetting
I bought this AW768 Keyboard for my Alienware 17 R4 laptop and I have to re-enter and save the colors on the lighting on a daily basis.
I think it mostly happens whenever the Laptop goes to sleep.
I've tried messing around with some of the settings, but nothing works.
Anyone come across this?

Hi Tanglethorn,
Check this article.
Update the BIOS to the latest.
Make sure you're not just changing the theme but saving the changes.
Also run the keyboard's firmware update in the Control Center.

Hi and thanks for the reply. I updated the BIOS a few days ago which didn't help. When you refer to "saving" the changes, I do not see a "Save" button in the Control Center application.
What I typically do is make the changes and then click on the "Update Lighting Preset" button on the lower left corner to save my lighting profile.
See attached screen shot.

On a side note, this is the second KB AW768 Dell has sent me and the problem occurred on both keyboards. Could this be an issue with the power saving settings?
Also, the article you linked gives me error message:

It happened again. I walked away from my laptop for a few hours and came back to this.

Also, check Power Options and make sure it is on high performance and open the Alienhead on the task bar and make sure that any setting is set to turn off (dim lights).

This is what I am looking at right now. It's always a little dark in the room where I use my computer so having the lights go off on the keyboard periodically is extremely frustrating. Were you able to find a fix for this??

Hi ,
What's your system model and revision?
What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
