I have posted this already but it will not let me reply to the person who replied to my post..it says access denied weird. anyways what does a power driver state failure mean? i get this sometimes with a blue screen. I just got this laptop not even 2 weeks and it did i this the day after i got it. I have an Alienware Laptop M17xR3
I am not sure if i even have this in the right postings so if not i'm sorry

did you try to reinstall the display driver ? or maybe you should read the dumpfile by using the BlueScreenView.exe to see if you can get more information from there.

i havent tried those but where would my display driver be?
