Alienware 11x R1 performance diminishes after 3 years.

Question

After I have clean the fan which suffered a lot of dust. However, these recent days I started to notice that my Alienware 11x performance is really bad. I used to play CS:GO, Dota 2 with 60-80 fps for over 4 hours straight (game set to lowest setting). But now, I always suffer in-game low fps(10-20 fps) for about 5 minutes then the game runs smooth again. If anyone know how to fix this problem plz help. Thank you

Thank you. This does help a lot. However, my Alienware is kinda old and its Core 2 Duo is not recommended when I play CS:GO with (30 fps). Is there anyway I can boost up my Core processing to gain more fps. If not, I'm thinking about selling back the laptop to Alienware. Thank you
