Alienware 14 Freezing?
Hey guys, I just received my Alienware 14 and I seem to be having a bit of a Bad Luck Brian situation with it. When I first booted it up out of the box, it took me three attempts to get it to start. It would power up to the Windows loading screen and just shut off. When I finally got past that, I noticed from time to time my system would literally freeze up and I would have to hold the power button to turn it off. I ran the basic and extended diagnostic tools from the BIOS but nothing showed up as being faulty. The freezing has been sporadic so I'm not really sure what to put it down to.
Anyone else having issues like this?
Also, to the right hand lower portion of the laptop (to the right of the trackpad), I occasionally hear a really loud noise (like something activating).

Hello Racer-x01!
I would recommend you to follow these steps
1. Start Windows and logon with an administrator account.
2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
3. Make sure View by Category is selected, and click Uninstall a program.
4. Select NVIDIA Drivers, and click Uninstall or Uninstall/Change.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete uninstallation.
6. Flash the BIOS to the Latest version (A04)
7. Download the latest driver from the NVidia website.
8 Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Let us know how it goes.

It turns out my PC had the latest BIOS update but I still replicated the steps. I'll have to report back later to see if the issue persists. Could there be any issues when the system switches between video cars? (Nvidia to Intel and back)?
*update* - Still getting random freezing. I even updated the Intel video driver. Nothing seems to work.
