On this model, the entire screen assembly needs to be replaced -- cost is around $150 for the part. If you can't change it yourself, add another $75-100 for labor with a competent repair shop (smaller shops generally charge by the hour and will cost less than a chain, which will likely charge by the job).

That is the m14x and the alienware 14 screen is not on there but instead just a different screen that is compatible.
