Alienware 15 R2 Connecting to Wifi kills entire network

Hi there, recently I change my modem (xinfinity) but whenever I connect to my My Alienware 15 R2  wifi it kills entire network and I have to reset my modem, this occurred again n again while the another mac works well with the same network. I also googled it and seems that many people facing the same problem and suggested some drivers (killer) be updated.I did everything but no results. It's very difficult to connect it via wire. PLEASE HELP

Good trouble-shooting on your part to try a wired Ethernet connection and verify it works.

In the old-days, I would never have believed that a computer connecting to a WiFi network could kill or reset a router. However, users have been reporting that here for years. I remember about 5 different threads over the years (maybe those are still online here ... I posted tips in all of them).  They always have Killer Networking cards.

I think this is the most recent.

I think you have 2 options:

1. Repair Killer Networking card and/or drivers

1a. Some users end-up swapping Killer Networking card for a similar Intel card (candidate must use same internal antenna config).

2. Carefully reprogram router and/or computer to use different WiFi paramaters, Frequencies, and/or actual AccessPoint (if it has more than one). Try to limit speed or otherwise control the connection it establishes. Try to "work-around" the problem but still allow other devices to work on the router's WiFi. My guess is it's over-driving the router and it's over-heating and rebooting, but it could be something else causing the router to get confused . It's strange it doesn't just disconnect the offending machine.
