Alienware 15 R2 - GTX 980M - amount of VRAM

I noticed there is a bit of inconsistency (maybe it just me though), on the amount of VRAM on the GTX 980M for the Alienware 15 R2. Checked the reviews on the system, and they say 4GB. Check mine, also 4GB...hmm. However when checking on-line on the Alienware site, it says 8GB. So I purchased the system with the understanding it would be 8GB as well. Which is it - 4GB, or 8GB (I know there are two Nvidia SKUs, but I am talking more about Alienware)?

Hi,

There were some reports about customers receiving the GTX 980M 4GB instead of 8GB. At the moment, we are only offering the GTX 980M with 8GB. However, at some point we did offer the GTX 980M with 4GB so check your order specifications to confirm what it shows for the VRAM on the GTX 980M.

This happened to me as well.

Is there already a solution available by DELL? I've called the Service desk but they told me it would be checked internally and asked me to provide proof (i.e. screenshots).
