We can check on the available repair options for your system, just send me your Service Tag in a PM and I will get back to you. Its hard to determine what caused the issue, perhaps it was not installed properly and it became loose over time.

Be sure it's completely clean. If so, sounds like maybe a bent fan-blade or bad bearing.
