Alienware 15 black screen! Help!!

When i start the laptop the lights turn on and everything but the display remains black, after a few seconds it turns off and tries to turn on again automatically! Its been a couple of times where the laptop just boots normally without a problem, can use it like always. As soon as i turn it off, im unable to turn in on again! Please help
