Alienware 17 Keyboard Game Problem - Arrow Keys and Letter Keys

Question

Hey all, So I just bought a new Alienware 17 (had a M15x before) and installed a couple of my fav motocross games.  These games use the arrow keys to steer mixed with certain letter keys for weight distribution in the game.  All other laptops including my previous Alienware work fine, but the new Alienware 17 does the weirdest thing.   When I am steering and holding down the front arrow key for the gas sometimes when I use the A or D key then all of a sudden there is sometimes a delay in pressing the left or right arrow key, and sometimes I have to unpress other keys before it works again.   I also just tried playing MX vs ATV Reflex and in this game every time I jump in the air and try to do a whip (holding down the back arrow key, left arrow key and D key) the arrow keys don't work at all again until I either don't press any arrow key in the air and then press D or don't press D at all.   I've tried an external keyboard and it works fine. Has anyone ever had this problem? I'm on Windows 8.1, Nvidia 770M.   Thanks!!! Jake

Sorry for the super late response but believe it or not I actually just fixed it today!!!  It's actually a problem in Windows 8.1. Go to Change PC Settings - PC and Devices - Mouse and touchpad - Touchpad - Change to no delay (Always on) and bingo!!! :)

Thanks but unfortunately it did not make a difference with the problem.  It's quite odd as I've never had this problem with any laptop before, Alienware or other.  Hoping I can find a fix!
