Alienware 17 R4 SSD compatibility
Hello, does the new Alienware 17 R4 support M.2 Sata SSDs? I know it can support M.2 PCIe SSDs but they are more expensive and I already have one for the second bay. (The first bay which is for 80mm SSDs) I was considering a 1TB M.2 Sata SSD like Sandisk X400 for the third bay (the second large bay) if it is supported. Thank you.

of course it is compatible.
My 17 R3 has two pci-express lanes. 1st lane is reserved for Samsung NVMe 256gb OS SSD. I installed Samsung Evo 850 500gb on the other lane. Works beautifully.
