Hi,
Which power plan are you currently using and are you using your system with the AC adapter plugged in?

Turn off Adaptive Brightness
For current Power Plan, set screen brightness the same for AC-Powered and Battery.
Turn off Screen Dimming
Not sure what your real problem is, but that should be a good work-around for now.
